The world's number one cryptocurrency finally rose above $6,000 on most cryptocurrency exchanges on Thursday, a price level the crypto community hasn't seen since November 14, 2018.

The crypto market sprang back to life with all the major cryptocurrency gaining its value. The total capitalization of the cryptocurrency market increased by around $5 billion during today’s uptick to where it sits now at a value of $188.6 billion.

Despite the latest negative headlines, Bitcoin is continuing its momentum and pushing for higher prices. Clearly, Bitcoin has stopped caring about bad news, something the well-known crypto analyst and trader Alex Kruger pointed out earlier today.

Other highly ranked cryptos in terms of market cap like Ether (ETH), EOS (EOS), and Cardano (ADA) are all reporting 24-hour gains above two percent, while bitcoin is leading the top 10 cryptocurrencies, currently boasting an increase of 3.64 percent.

The crypto community has been on a rollercoaster of late, with the Tether and Bitfinex fraud news, quickly followed by the Binance Hack, which saw 7000 BTC going up in smoke.
